Combining crushing metal aggression with razor-sharp songwriting, Slowly Turning Blue showcases another side of NO CURE’s evolving sound. Built around massive riffs and the band’s trademark intensity, the track balances raw emotion with the kind of mosh-inducing energy that has made their live performances increasingly notorious across the underground.

Regarding the song, vocalist Blaythe Steuer comments: “Slowly Turning Blue is a song I needed to write before No Cure was even an idea. Unfortunately, it’s pretty emotionally challenging for me, so instead I will talk about how much I love the static pinch riff, the harmonized guitars in the bridge, and the Sepultura drums section. I can’t wait to play this one live starting next month across the US because to be honest you are dancing.

Produced, engineered, and mixed by longtime collaborator Kevin Langley, It Is Going To Get Dark finds NO CURE expanding beyond the boundaries of their previous releases while retaining the ferocity, precision, and confrontational spirit that have fueled their rapid ascent. Written and recorded in Alabama between extensive touring cycles, the album channels personal turmoil, social unease, and unfiltered aggression into the band’s most ambitious statement to date.

With It Is Going To Get Dark set for release on July 10th via SharpTone Records, NO CURE continue proving why they have become one of the most talked-about names in contemporary hardcore and extreme music.

Fans in North America can witness the mayhem live this summer as NO CURE embarks on their headline tour, featuring support from BIG ASS TRUCK I.E., BAYWAY, and BOLTCUTTER.
