“‘I Never See Her’ is about rationalizing a breakup,” says frontman Caleb Harper. “It’s a conversation you have with yourself when you’re delaying the inevitable and anticipating the grief. It’s also about longing for a place that will hold you and keep you safe – trying to define what home means and where it is.”

Produced by Day Wave (Calum Hood, Pete Yorn, Olivia O’Brien) and mixed by Lars Stalfors (Role Model, BENEE, The Dare), Exit Wounds was written and recorded in Los Angeles during the making of If That Makes Sense. The band’s previously released track ‘Do You Really Love Her’ hit the Viral 50 Charts in both U.S and Australia. The song also placed at #7 on the NZ Hot 40 Chart.

This June, Spacey Jane continue their global run with another North American headline tour, alongside festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Governors Ball and Chicago’s iconic Lollapalooza.

Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice), If That Makes Sense was released in May 2025 to widespread praise and scored two ARIA Award nominations. In addition, the band were the Most Played artist on triple j in 2025 and had 5 songs in the Hottest 100 this year (‘Whateverrrr’, ‘All The Noise’, ‘Through My Teeth’, ‘Estimated Delivery’ and ‘How to Kill Houseplants’), which was tied with Olivia Dean for the most entries in the countdown. 

If That Makes Sense followed 2022’s Here Comes Everybody and 2020’s Sunlight. The band became a hometown sensation after the release of Sunlight, topping Triple J’s annual album poll with breakout single ‘Booster Seat’ and earning the ARIA for Song of the Year. Inspired by the success of their debut album, Spacey Jane got to work on their sophomore album, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts and earned them the title of Triple J’s most played artist in 2022.
