In 2026, New Jersey hell-raisers Lorna Shore will return to Australian shores, with an arena headline tour locked in this October, along with the announcement today of their first ever New Zealand performances. Joined by special guests and fellow American deathcore merchants Whitechapel for all Australian shows, Massachusetts heavy hitters The Acacia Strain will also support throughout the entire run. Additionally, local New Zealand death metallers Organectomy will open on NZ dates only.

Commencing on Friday 16 October in Melbourne, Lorna Shore will roar through Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane, before heading over to New Zealand for shows in Wellington in Monday 26 October, and two shows in Auckland on Wednesday 28 October and Thursday 29 October.

A band who have spent over 15 years exploring and exploding beyond the confines of what it means to be a heavy band in the modern age, Lorna Shore weld ferocity and emotional dexterity through their signature brand of deathcore. Since forming in 2009, the group have since evolved into a powerhouse of intense brutality, melodic sorcery and, in more recent times, mainstream infamy, with their 2020 album Immortal and 2021 breakout EP …And I Return To Nothingness, along with the guttural vocal acrobatics of vocalist Will Ramos, catapulting the group beyond cult status and into global renown. Whether hitting the viral Spotify and Billboard charts, generating hundreds of millions of streams or touring the globe and galvanising a significant fanbase in the process, Lorna Shore offer the ultimate meeting point for unbridled catharsis, raw emotion, searing sonic aggression and cinematic beauty; a fact that elevated to even greater heights via their recent fifth studio album, 2025’s I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me.

A chameleonic live act who have toured over the years with everyone from Mastodon through to Gojira, Parkway Drive and more, as well as at major festivals including Knotfest, Wacken Open Air, Download Festival and Hellfest, Lorna Shore’s Australian live legacy is a much more recent affair, with the group’s maiden headline tour in February 2025 entirely sold out before returning to obliterate Aussie crowds once again last December as part of Good Things Festival. Described by Everyday Metal as delivering “80 minutes or so of face-ripping sonic armageddon” of their Melbourne headline sideshow late last year, Lorna Shore’s previous Australian live performances have been nothing short of acclaimed across the board, with Metal-Roos praising of their Sydney performance last February as “a white-hot barrage of blackened death metal with the beatdown energy to beat any deathcore band”, and TheMusic.com.au declaring of the first-ever Melbourne performance that “tonight, they show us exactly why they sit atop the heap…they pour such heart, soul, effort and wrenching emotion into their set, it takes the breath away”.

Forming in 2006 in Knoxville, Tennessee, deathcore icons Whitechapel have been obliterating speakers and live crowds for two decades, continually sharpening their eclectic take on the heavy subgenres along the way. Starting life with intense brutality and morbid themes, Whitechapel have gone on to, at times, expand their sonic palette to include grooves, melody and more personal lyricism; but their reputation as one of the pioneers of early deathcore remains, powerfully festering at the core of their sonic DNA. With nine studio albums in their wake, spanning their 2007 debut The Somatic Defilement through to 2025’s Hymns in Dissonance, Whitechapel have ticked off chart success, appearances on several Album Of The Year lists and tours with some of the giants of the scene, including Cannibal Corpse, Lorna Shore and Trivium amongst many others. A band who delivers a merciless live show fit for their royal status in the deathcore realms, Whitechapel most recently performed down under in 2023 supporting Thy Art Is Murder.

For more than two decades, veteran heavies The Acacia Strain have been snapping necks and consistently delivering new material to their explosively expanding fanbase across the globe. Now in command of thirteen studio albums, most recently unveiling their 2025 acclaimed LP You Are Safe From God Here, The Acacia Strain make nihilism and doom an enticing affair, frequently unleashing a cacophony of beautiful chaos that embraces deathcore, sludge, metalcore, hardcore and beyond. Forming in Massachusetts in the early 2000s, The Acacia Strain have toured relentlessly throughout their tenure, previously sharing stages with the likes of Architects, Every Time I Die, Hatebreed and Dying Fetus, and most recently whipped Australian crowds into a frenzy in early 2024 with Dying Wish as the support. With a live show that could double as a battering ram, The Acacia Strain will be primed and ready to raise hell with Australian and New Zealand crowds in 2026.

This October, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of all their nightmares. Australia and New Zealand, prepare to enter the abyss with Lorna Shore for their biggest ever headline shows down under, tickets will absolutely not last long!
